This year for the first time a two-day International Conference "Nature and wellness world" will take place during the Pirts and Wellness Festival 2023 on 22 - 23 July, in TērvetePirts stage.
The Conference will host speakers from the USA, Japan, Czechia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Conference will focus on topics related to wellness, green and healthy lifestyle, pirts traditions and wellness practices abroad. The importance of the theme is highlighted by the recent expansion of awareness of Latvian pirts traditions abroad and the global tendency of turning towards nature and more holistic approaches in order to enhance wellbeing.
A live stream of the Conference will be on Latvian Pirts and SPA Association and/or Pirts Domnīca Facebook pages.
The Conference will be in English.
The Conference is organised by Latvian Pirts and SPA Association in collaboration with Latvian Investment and Development Agency (Latvia.travel). The Festival is supported by Dobele County Council, Latvian National Forests (LVM) and the European Regional Development Fund.
On 15 June 2023 Latvian Pirts and SPA Association signed a legally binding contract No. SKV-TL-2023/54 with Latvian Investment and Development Agency as part of a project promoting international competitiveness (tourism), the latter being co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
